The purpose of Plan Ceibal is to promote the digital inclusion by facilitating access and use of information from education as primary agent for human and social development. The incorporation to education is associated primarily to equity and as a condition adjuvant to enhance cognitive skills, renew teaching strategies, and ultimately for basic skills training for the future human capital.
From this is that laptops have been handed over to every student of Elementary and Secondary Education of the country and teachers of these educational levels.
To encourage the use of Science and Technology from the everyday outside and inside the classroom, delving into the collaborative work, the development of skills and knowledge integration for cross as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, etc.., is that it implements robotic education, physical-chemical sensors, Astronomy, digitizing and editing audio and video, programming video games. Working in workshop format supporting teachers both locally and virtually, using examples and triggers to enhance the teaching - learning through technology.
